Fresh start.
Those who know me very well will know that I tend to switch domain names often. I rarely am satisfied with the domain name I choose, and when it expires I end up switching.
I really do hope this one will be permanent. I like the name – it’s short and sweet (which is what I’ve been wanting but unable to achieve). To explain a bit, “Romii” is a variation on one of my many nicknames. When I can’t use “Rororin”, I use “Roromii” as a backup. “Rororin.net” and “Roromii.net” did not sound appealing. A friend had suggested “Romi.net”, but that was unavailable and didn’t really give a “me” feeling. So I went with “Romii.net” because it was still like my nicknames, but shorter and more appropriate as a domain name.
And there you have it. I’m in the process of doing what I can to transfer over other parts of the domain (WCUA News, for example) without too much information loss. I’m not sure how to make sure I don’t lose the database information, but we’ll see what I can do.
